Electronic Literature, or Elit, is an emergent form of storytelling and comprises a wide and vast array of content created, primarily, for digital spaces. The Electronic Literature Organization (ELO) has curated and created 3 volumes of Elit that are available to the public. The third collection is the most recent and features work from Elit creators that was displayed at the 2017 Whitney Biennial. We highly encourage exploration of the volumes! Many of the works in these volumes use tools that students in the MA Writing Studies program learn to use!
Not really sure what Elit is or how to navigate a work designed entirely for a digital space? Check out these resources for some guidance on how to interact with born-digital work!
