ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the University’s admissions requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (lower GPA’s will be considered based on overall strength of application)
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended
- Two letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
- Professional Resume/CV
- Departmental interview may be required
- TOEFL (for applicants whose native language is not English)
PREREQUISITE COURSEWORK
- Minimum 12 undergraduate credits in English or an area of study related to the degree (communication, literacy), excluding freshman composition or first-year writing
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- 30 credits
- Acceptance of written thesis
